Julius Libris - Jupiter’s Books/Library
I interpreted my friend Julio as a monster because he made this awesome painting that he doesn’t like (I know, right?! Julio, you make me sick with envy of your painting skills.) and he let me keep it, so I made him some artwork in return. In the end he was painted orange with green stripes - which looks a lot like Cringer/Battle Cat from He-Man in reverse :3
I gave him huge, muscular arms because Julio looks like a superhero in real life. In addition to having too many muscles (Charles Atlas Seal of Approval), he also has a super-square jaw that will punch you in the face. He’s like, super nice, and he’s a Leo (meaning, I know I’m just puffing up his ego by saying this. But genuinely nice AND creative Leos can be rare. What a manipulative Gemini I am.)
So this sketch is all you’ll ever see if him. I love giving away artwork. His name is Julius Libris because I wanted a latin-y name that made no sense but sounded like Julio’s name a little.
