Updating my resumé and needed a new (better) version of my “warrior” self. As much fun as it is to scribble in the details of the sword out of the scabbard, the silhouette just wasn’t reading very clearly. Also the old one was terribad. *AVERT YOUR EYES* Ugh I can’t even look at it anymore. This new one is much better.
I decided to ink this using Ray Frenden’s Photoshop preset. My only issue is that the contrast between white and black using this preset is a little high for my taste. It just needs a touch more anti-aliasing (granted, some of that anti-aliasing will appear as you save out copies of the work or print it out onto paper, etc. But it’s just a little bothersome if you’re not working on bigger files that will get scaled down and so on.)
I made my resumé like a character stat sheet this time, and I needed an illustration of myself. This is the sketch for that. I always pick a melee class first when given the option, and always whichever one lets me use big weapons. I’m always a warrior. I like it.
Don’t give me shit for giving myself a big generic fantasy sword. It’s not like it’s as big and stupid as the Buster. :| i liek big weponz.
